EXCELLENT Based on 114 reviews Wendysting2026-01-16Verified The Insight of Calm: Navigating Life's Shadows! I am delighted to share my heartfelt commitment to Kuraka Travel following my Peru trip. During our ceremonies in Cusco, I experienced firsthand the deep respect and reverence that Kuraka's team holds for the Mother Earth (Pacha mama). Their commitment to honoring the natural world was both inspiring and humbling. One of the most memorable moments was our evening ascent up the mountain. As we set up our space in the cave, I learned that if we approach our intentions with love and focus, we can navigate through darkness—even without light. This profound insight resonated deeply with me, reminding me of the clarity that can be found when we trust ourselves and the process around us. I wholeheartedly endorse Kuraka Travel for anyone seeking a meaningful and safe journey. Their professionalism, combined with their extensive knowledge and passion for their work, makes them a trusted partner in travel. The experiences they offer are truly enriching. Thank you, Kuraka Travel, for an unforgettable adventure! Katrina V2026-01-15Verified Ayauasca & Waynapitchu climb I did the ayauasca with Wayan twice as well as climb Waynapitchu . Very powerful shamans who can guide you through their ancient, inherited wisdom and knowledge. The healing process was very smooth and deeply powerful. I strongly recommend it. Hannah C2025-11-30Verified life changing, expansive, and transformative journey with incredible guides and life long friends I had the honor of sharing three ceremonies with Wayna and Illareq — three portals, really — each one held with tenderness, clarity, and the deep heart of Quechuan tradition. From the moment we met, I felt genuinely cared for. Wayna took the time to speak with me over calls beforehand, to sit for a meal and a soul chat before the ceremonies, and to truly understand my curiosities and intentions. They hold a frequency of safety that lets you soften, trust, and fully open to the medicine. They guided me through visions, fear, grief, remembrance, and an unbelievable amount of magic. The mountains spoke through them. The caves held us. The ceremonies changed me. I’m forever grateful for their guidance and their devotion to this path. If your heart is calling you to sit with them, it’s for a reason. I feel this is only the beginning of my journey with these incredible guides and friends, and I’m so excited to see how our work together will ripple into my service and leadership worldwide. It has been such a profound blessing — each moment full of magic, depth, and insight. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Not to mention: each site was breathtakingly beautiful, sacred, and full of history and love. Blessings and Ayni, dear brothers. ✨🌬️🪽 Rita P2025-11-07Verified Healing with Pachamama — Guided by a True Son of the Andes I joined two ceremonies with Wayna — one with Wachuma under the bright Andean sun, and one with Ayahuasca beneath the mountain stars. Each time, he led me hiking deep into the hills of Cusco, to sacred caves and hidden valleys where the silence itself felt alive. It was not just a ceremony; it was a spiritual expedition in pure nature. The experience challenged me deeply at first, but it also allowed me to open to the teaching of the Medicine and to the immense presence of Pachamama. What touched me most was Wayna’s presence. His guidance was deeply professional, yet entirely intuitive. In the Wachuma ceremony, his energy was gentle, joyful, and playful — perfectly attuned to the plant’s soft heart. In the Ayahuasca night, he became the ancient soul of the Andes, a true medicine man. Every rhythm, song, and sound he played seemed to arrive exactly at the moment I needed it. His care helped me stay calm through the difficult stages and trust the medicine’s flow. Wayna carries the mountains within him. He feels like the sun hidden behind clouds — warm, grounded, and full of light. His connection with the land and the spirits is pure and humble. As a psychotherapist, I found both ceremonies profoundly healing and meaningful, not only for my personal growth but also for how I will accompany others in their own journeys. Wayna embodies the perfect union between the wisdom of the Earth and the healing power of the Medicine. Female WorldTraveler S2025-10-20Verified Too many delays, lovely Location ! Ayahuasca ceremony at midnight outdoors, beautiful location, however a few things that can help other solo travelers: - ask for a itinerary regarding times for ceremony -they Don’t provide any blankets or breakfast/tea next day and 2 hours before my pick up time I get a text from one of the guides: bring sleeping bag and pick up time has delayed 45min -when guide arrived to my location, he was alone, we then went to the house of another guide (walking during rain) and waiting for another “friend” -we ended up arriving at the ceremony location at 7.30pm -actual ayahuasca intake started after 10.30pm -there is no Andean instruments or music been played. -the trekking guides are the same guides for ayahuasca and for my surprise there was a third person as well -you will be all lined up next to each other with minimum room for space to move. In general, the best of the experience was the location, I dislike the fact we were 4 people lined up next to each other even though it was a private ceremony, I paid 340$usd and so much delay to arrive to the place and then more waiting time till the actual intake. Grateful for the experience ! Thank you! Squids20002025-09-14Verified Truly life-changing experience that I will remember always I have taken such a long time to write this review because I truly have no way to express this experience in words, let alone in Spanish, or as a review. I would say that if you are looking for a shaman to guide you on your path, Wayna is most trustworthy, gentle, supportive and extremely knowledgeable. He could read exactly when I needed spiritual guidance or support during the ceremony and made me feel safe. I’m not sure how to describe it other than that the location of the ceremony and way Wayna guided it was exactly how it needed to happen. My experience is personal, but it has opened my mind to many things and helped me to better understand myself. I hope to be able to return for another ceremony one day. Estoy muy agradecida. Salvador C2025-09-08Verified Book with Kuraka! I can’t say enough good things about Kuraka travel: reliable, professional, and passionate about their culture. Wayna, David and Illareq are now my distant family. They have tons of experience and tailored the journey to my liking. I won’t book with any other company. They are proficient in English also.
