Itinerary

Hotel Pickup: We will begin the day by picking you up from your hotel at 4 AM. Our team will be punctually ready to take you in a comfortable and safe vehicle.

Exclusive Breakfast: After a two-hour journey, we will arrive in mollepata, a community near the main road. There, you will delight in an exclusively prepared breakfast for our tourists at a quality restaurant.

Altitude Preparation: Following breakfast, we will continue in the vehicle for an additional hour to the starting point of the hike in the community of soraypampa, located at an elevation of 3900 meters above sea level. We recommend wearing warm clothing, a hat, gloves, and sunscreen due to the altitude and climate. If you don’t feel fully acclimatized, we offer the option to rent a horse at the beginning of the hike for an additional cost of 90 soles.

Cultural and Geographic Exploration: During the hike, our expert guide will provide you with detailed information about the geography and the rich Andean life of the local communities that still preserve their cultural heritage.

Mountain Viewpoint: Upon reaching the mountain viewpoint, you will be awestruck by the beauty of the landscapes and the humantay lake and the glaciers around. You will have free time to admire and capture memorable moments.

Elevated Andean Peaks and Outstanding Glaciers: Our journey to Laguna Humantay is a unique voyage that will provide you with the opportunity to personally experience the grandeur of the most impressive snow-capped peaks in Cusco. As we progress on our hike, you will enjoy unparalleled panoramic views of two of the highest and most majestic summits in the Peruvian Andes: the Salkantay Mountain, which soars majestically to an altitude of 6270 meters above sea level (masl), and the Humantay Mountain, whose stunning presence extends to an altitude of 5950 masl.

Exclusive Breakfast: After an hour journey, we will arrive in mollepata, a community near the main road. There, you will delight in an exclusively prepared lunch for our tourists at a quality restaurant.

Return to Cusco: After concluding the comprehensive exploration of the Sacred Valley, we will make our way back to Cusco. Our driver and guide will ensure that you are safely dropped off at your respective hotels or in their vicinity.
