Our purpose

It is our responsibility to reach the communities and people who are in the most distant and forgotten lands, who hope to hear about the greatness of their ancestors in order to recover their identity and origin. To contribute further, 10% of the profits are destined to identity education — to reassess themselves as human beings, to supervise their development in the learning process for a full life of our people. Environmental impact programs (reforestation) and protection of the planet are also an important part of this.

Consciousness above all, to prevent unconsciousness, was the basis on which kuraka.travel was founded. To complete our profile, we not only use our talent and experience in tourism, but we also use our energy, essence, and love of life. In this way, we reflect successful and incomparable work.

WE LOVE WHAT WE DO

KURAKA: In the time of the Inkas, they were governors. They were wise Intiyayas (solar priests = shamans) who taught their people to live in harmony. Currently, some work as tourist guides. If you let them guide you, they will take you to unique places and teach you the cosmic laws to live life in harmony.

Come and meet us… come on!

Vision

We all have a purpose in this world, and we will help people find meaning and reason in life. I understand that the search for meaning and purpose in life can be a difficult and lonely path, but I am here to accompany you on your journey. Together, we can explore your passions, talents, and values to help you discover your true purpose.

Mission

Our mission is to provide support and guidance to those who need help overcoming life’s challenges. We believe that everyone deserves access to resources and services that allow them to reach their full potential and live a full and satisfying life. Through our work, we hope to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and in the community at large.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

We are spiritual teachers who dedicate ourselves to healing, connecting with nature, and guiding the community in their search for meaning and purpose in life.

We are spiritual guides committed to helping others on their path of emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.

We use techniques and practices such as meditation, visualization, healing with herbs and plants, ritual, and ceremony to heal and balance the energy of the body, mind, and spirit..

Shamans are also mentors and advisors, providing guidance and wisdom to those seeking a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.

We are keepers of ancestral wisdom and the collective memory of indigenous cultures and humanity as a whole.

As spiritual and cultural leaders, we represent the importance of maintaining and preserving the rich traditions and heritage of our people.

Through our practices and teachings, we seek to foster greater awareness and respect for nature and the living beings that inhabit it, as well as for our own roots and the history of our people.

In summary, shamans represent a blend of spirituality, ancestral wisdom, healing, guidance, and leadership, and our presence and work are essential to the well-being and harmony of our community and humanity as a whole.

GIVING BACK YACHAY WASI (school)

As guardians of our grandparents’ ancestral wisdom, we are committed to continuing to teach our way of life. Since time immemorial, our Inka ancestors founded universities and centers of higher education to achieve the accomplishments confirmed by history and archaeology. The first Inka, Manco Ccapac, founded the first Panaka (university) with the name Panaka Hanan Q’osqo, and it is this center of studies that continues to maintain the light of ancestral knowledge to save life on Mother Earth. Panakas were centers of education for leaders and high officials who administered the Inka system. After completing their training, they obtained the degree of Intiyayas (solar priests) and Mamaconas (priestesses of the Moon) and returned to their home villages to serve as high officials. Nowadays, this wisdom is still followed, but without the necessary resources or infrastructure to openly teach the Inca curriculum like other institutions do. Those who were trained at the Panaka Hanan Q’osqo work in different current occupational areas, but all with a single ideal of working for the intellectual, socio-natural, and economic development of the indigenous populations. Several of them have been presidents of their communities and have developed projects that currently help the development of their peoples.

Purpose

Through YACHAY WASI, a center for studies, we promote the spiritual, intellectual, social, and economic development of the forgotten and marginalized populations, with the goal of achieving ALLIN KAUSAY, or good living. In this way, we contribute to finding solutions to preserve life on Mother Earth. Our proposal offers a new approach to addressing the critical situation that the earth is facing, which threatens all forms of life.

Vision

To save life on Mother Earth, our goal is to strengthen the identity of the local population by creating a positive influence on the world through education in spirituality and intellect, all of which is facilitated by our own educational center.

Mission

To awaken society’s consciousness, we aim to teach them to recover their cultural identity, motivate their desire to learn and research, and embrace life with a smile while maintaining the basic principles of life that govern the order and balance of existence.
