TREK Description
The Salkantay Spiritual Path 5 Days and 4 Nights is recognized as one of the most iconic routes to reach Machu Picchu, standing out not only for its popularity but also for the grandeur of its scenic beauty, offering unmatched panoramic views. Salkantay Spiritual path has been meticulously designed to cater to a segment of discerning travelers, those who seek not just physical adventure but a comprehensive experience of deep connection with nature and their own spirituality.
This journey is led by a native Andean guide, whose training and knowledge are based on the preservation of ancestral practices. Throughout the trek, the guide facilitates an immersion in Andean knowledge and cosmology, emphasizing the sacred interrelationship between human beings, Pachamama (Mother Earth), and the universe.
The experience includes technical instruction on how to carry out a traditional land offering ceremony, respecting the ritual protocols that ensure its authenticity and fidelity to ancient traditions. This approach not only allows for a deeper cultural understanding but also aims to promote the spiritual and emotional well-being of participants through the practice of respectful and symbolic veneration of natural elements.
The program also features a glamping experience, combining immersion in nature with luxury accommodation designed to maximize comfort during overnight stays. This type of lodging allows participants to enjoy a pleasant stay in a natural setting without sacrificing comfort, providing optimal resting spaces after each day.
As part of our responsible tourism policy, we support the local economy by employing accommodations managed by local communities along the route. A highlight of the journey is the third night, where the camp is strategically located facing Machu Picchu, offering the unique opportunity to witness both sunset and sunrise over this wonder of the world, a visual experience that few travelers have the chance to enjoy.
