Join us on this hike! Passing through glaciers, lagoons, forests, and many more landscapes, you will fall in love with nature. We will arrive at the viewpoint  of the Salkantay and Humantay glaciers. We will visit their lagoons, and their paths will take us to enjoy epic landscapes that the Andes have for you. On the other side of the mountain range, we will find cloud forests with lush vegetation. Subtropical forests become tropical forests where we will find a diversity of flora and fauna. A coffee tour will give us the opportunity to produce our own coffee. During the walk, we will reach deep valleys with impressive mountains that will allow us to zip-line. Together with all the activities: adventure, culture, mysticism, and a lot of adrenaline, this hike will make an unforgettable experience. Upon reaching Machupicchu, we will have already had therapy with nature and pleasant memories.

Itinerary

This program has been carefully designed to be ahead of other groups and enjoy the landscapes without too many people.

DAY 01

CUSCO - SORAYPAMPA - SOQRO COCHA (B,L,D)

We will depart from Cusco at approximately 4:00 am. During our journey, we will make a stop at the Mollepata community for our first breakfast. Afterward, we’ll head to Soraypampa, situated at an altitude of 3900 meters above sea level, marking the start of our trek. We’ll visit the Humantay Lagoon located at an altitude of 4270 meters above sea level, providing picturesque views and an incredible sight of the Humantay Glacier. Subsequently, we’ll continue the trek until we reach Soqrococha, our camping site positioned at an altitude of 4480 meters above sea level. Here, we’ll have the unique opportunity to be in front of the Salkantay Mountain, towering at 6271 meters above sea level.

DAY 02

SOQRO COCHA - QOLLPA PAMPA (B,L,D)

A day replete with technical and geographical marvels as we will achieve the apogee of our expedition at the Salkantay Pass, positioned at a staggering altitude of 4630 meters above sea level, relishing the panoramic vista extending from the eastern to western horizons, coupled with the immense gratification of being in such close proximity to a colossal glacier. Subsequently, we shall undertake a descent towards considerably lower elevations, experiencing a dramatic shift in altitude zones, ecological systems, flora, and fauna, as we traverse into tropical regions boasting milder climates, on our way to the ensuing encampment, sited at 2850 meters above sea level.

DAY 03

QOLLPA PAMPA - LUCMABAMBA - AGUAS CALIENTES (B,L,D)

The province of Cusco, known for its year-round temperate climate, will be our destination as we journey towards Lucmabamba, situated at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. This area boasts an impressive production of coffee and indigenous fruits like lucuma, avocado, oranges, bananas, yucca, among other local crops. During our visit, we’ll have the opportunity to take part in the preparation of traditional Inca coffee, roasted using traditional methods with everyone’s involvement. Following this experience, we’ll have lunch and then travel to Hidroelectrica, the starting point for our trek to Aguas Calientes Twon, located at an altitude of 2040 meters above sea level.

DAY 04

MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO (B)

The highly anticipated day of our excursion to Machu Picchu, a cultural emblem, has finally arrived. We are set to embark on a journey that will transport us to the Inkan era, amidst the exquisite beauty of the surrounding mountains and an unparalleled mystical panorama. Our means of transportation to the historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu will be via one of the designated buses. Following the tour. The return journey to Cusco will be via train in the afternoon and 2 hours bus to cusco.
